"For an insurance company my wife and I have had around 24 years I have never been so disgusted with the way this agents secretaries treat customers. Good luck to new home owners that have an older roof because guess what State Farm won’t cover you if it’s older than 10years old. Just when you think everything is going well and you get your new house and a week and a half later you get a phone call stating that you’re not being insured because of the roof age. Then if they receive a check from your closing costs to pay for the entire year before your escrow kicks in they deny that it ever came in and deposited into their account, only to find out that they did indeed cash it but processed it for a refund which they neglect to tell you about and you keep insisting they cashed it because you contact your underwriter for verification. A simple yes we received the payment for the year and a full refund has been issued would’ve saved this one star review. The refund was not for the full refund either but you better believe I’m getting my money back one way or another, do better State Farm you’re not new to this. There’s no reason a letter stating that you’re no longer covered takes 19 days to be sent to you, it’s not like I live over seas."

"I recently came into the office to discuss a cracked windshield. I was expecting someone to look at the damage and hand me a number to call and be on my way. I discussed the issue with Maricela and she took charge of it. She called the auto glass division and lined up everything for me. She didn’t get off the phone until everything was approved and my car was set up for an appointment the following morning. Marcus overheard Maricela on the phone and stepped out of his office to ask if he could assist her in anyway. I was very impressed with Maricela and her determination to resolve the issue. Excellent job by done by the Marcus Smith office, thank you so much."
